 Community Economic Development (CED) aims at empowering Haitian women financially through business creation and development. Haitian women who are unemployed and unable to find a job in the private sector receive technical assistance with job and business operation skills such as inventory, marketing, customer service and sales to start a small business. The program focuses mainly on income creation and wealth building. Women are now participating in the program and there is a long waiting list. Another component of CED advocates for a Living wage in the county and the nation.
